Inclusion criteria: - Participation in the “Check-Up35+” examination at a primary care physician - Age > 18 years - Written informed consent

Anti-HCV will be analyzed by the following test system: Cobas, Roche Diagnostics, Mannheim, Germany The anti-HCV prevalence will be calculated after 10000 patients in Hamburg and 20000 patients in Schleswig Holstein have been recruited. | — |
