Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Improvement of blood pressure in 24h blood pressure measurement (ABDM) and / or reduction of number / dosage of antihypertensives. Due to the corona restrictions, the study had to be temporarily interrupted in March it continued on May 18, 2020. An interim analysis based on the Occasional blood pressure measurements for the period from the start of the study until the corona-related interruption was decided. The systolic and / or diastolic was therefore another main target criterion Change in blood pressure in self-measurement added

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
After 12 months • Mean day and night blood pressure (ABPM) • Office blood pressure • Blood pressure during self-measurements • heart rate (day, night, variability) • blood pressure variability (ABPM) • Central blood pressure • lipid metabolism parameters • Glucose, HbA1c • Body Mass Index • Nutrition • Well-being Scale • stress questionnaire • Physical activity • DemTect In cooperation with Dr. Del Vecchio, Imperial College London, Department of Bioengineering (Head: Prof. Dr. D. Farina) in a subgroup of participants, the effect of soccer training on neural control of the Muscles examined. This is a non-invasive examination using adhesive electrodes, Duration approx. 60 min, including at the Institute of Neurorehabilitation Systems, Bernstein Center for Computational Neuroscience, UMG Göttingen
