Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age range: 12-24 yrs, lives with (at least) one parent who suffers from a mental illness (ICD-10, F0-F9), and who is currently undergoing voluntary inpatient psychiatric treatment and able to consent to study participation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children / adolescents with diagnosis of a mental illness (ICD-10, F0-F9), clinically relevant behavoiral problems according to CBCL / YSR (T>70)

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Reduction of internalising problems as measured by the Child-Behavior-Checklist, CBCL at 6-month-follow up compared to t0 (expeceted effect size Cohen's f = 0,25).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Increase in QoL (EQ-5D), after intervention and at 6-month-follow up compared to t0, exploratory analysis of economic evaluation paramters.
