Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Mininum age of 18 years, elective surgical procedure under general anaesthesia and ventilation, physical status according to the ASA I-III, written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Age < 18 years, pregnancy, emergency procedure, cardiac pacemaker, implantable cardioverter-defibrillator, other active implants, lung-diseases (especially COPD, clinical presentation), refusal of participation.
