| The immunological parameters of innate and acquired immunity will be examined for their quantity, quality and specificity. The anaysis is carried out after ontime blood sampling. For this purpose, the production of defense molecules by blood immune cells are measured by laboratory tests such as ELISA and flow cytometry and serum antibodies are analysed and quantified. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| At the time of blood sampling, the disease process is queried in a questionnaire in order to potentially correlate the course of the disease with the results of the laboratory tests. In addition, immune cells from the sampled blood are also being screened for possible gene alterations that may affect the immune system of TBE patients. | — |
