Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: • Patients undergoing elective surgery • Written consent of the patient • Age = 18 years • ASA I-III • No participation in another study (up to 30 days before inclusion in the study) • Total Intravenous Anesthesia (TIVA) with propofol and remifentanil • BMI = 35kg / m² • Inclusion criteria depending on the patient group: o Planned operating time> 4 hours o Planned surgery that requires one-lung ventilation o Planned laparoscopic surgery
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: • rejection by the patient • pre-existing conditions or patient circumstances that make a patient's examination impossible or meaningless (for example, dementia, psychiatric disorders, lack of speech or speaking skills) • ASA> III • drug abuse • Positive HIV or hepatitis test • Isolation of the patient • pregnancy • contraindications or known incompatibilities with intravenous narcotics used • contraindications for total intravenous anesthesia • Anesthesia guided by volatile anesthetics • BMI> 35kg / m²
