Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: clinically diagnosed psoriasis according to ICD-10 (WHO, 2016); occurrence of psoriasis for at least 6 months, sufficient german language skills in order to fill in the questionnaires

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The following exclusion criteria will be applied in order to secure that cognitively impaired patients or patients with another itchy skin disease will not be included in the study as well as to exclude the danger of a reactivation of illness-specific symptoms (Lustyk et al., 2009) due to participation in the mindfulness-based intervention: - the occurrence of other itch-related (skin-) diseases - the occurence of dementia - the occurrence of epilepsia - the occurrence of a severe psychological/ psychiatric disease
