Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age > 15 years and medically indicated blood withdrawal

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: blood volume below 300 ml

MeasureTime frame
free hemoglobin after 6 hours (calculation of N.I.H. [Normalized Index of Hemolysis] and M.I.H. [Modified Index of Hemolysis])

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
- concentration of inflammatory proteins (e.g. TNF-alpha, IL1beta, IL-6, IL-8) after 6 hours - concentration of neutrophil elastase after 6 hours - von-Willebrand Factor (VWF) antigen, VWF-Multimere after 3 and 6 hours - analysis of thrombocyte function after 3 hours - Quick, pTT, Fibrinogen, Antithrombin III, Protein C and Protein S after 6 hours
