8 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients from 8 years of age with unilateral or bilateral primary oblique muscle overaction or with unilateral or bilateral or superior oblique palsy with binocular vision. 2. Ability to consent of the adult participants. 3. Consent of the legal representatives for the underage participants.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Neurological diseases 2. Other Eye-dysmotility 3. Retinal Diseases 4. Visual acuity <0.4 5. No binocular vision 6. Vestibular diseases 7. congenital strabismus, DVD 8. High hypermetropia (from +4.0 dpt) 09. High myopia (from -6.0 D) 10. Eye surgery, especially eye muscle surgery in case history

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Degree of cyclodeviation measured by SD-OCT (spectral domain optical coherence tomography) with an anatomical positioning system (APS) and measured at the harms tangential Screen by the patients with primary oblique muscle overaction or trochlear palsy. The measurements are carried out during the examination of the patients / healthy subjects from the regular consultation hours.

MeasureTime frame
Examination of cyclotorsion by SD-OCT and Harms tangent screen by the healthy subjects and comparison with patients with primary oblique muscle overaction or superior oblique palsy. Change of cyclotorsion with a different fixation: 1 Fixation with the affected eye. 2. Fixation with the healthy eye. The measurements are carried out during the examination of the patients / healthy subjects from the regular consultation hours.
