Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Primary aim of the study is the assessment of lean tissue. Thus, we use a multifrequency bioelectrical impedance device on a weekly basis. To control factors related to muscle wasting, we use daily nutritional, training, and sleep diarys.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Secondary outcome of our study is the assessment of contractile properties with Myoton and Tensiomyography every 2 weeks. Furthermore, we measure quality of sleep (Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index, questionnaire) as well as mood (Germany version of the Profile of Mood States questionnaire) every 2 weeks.
