Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Adult patients of both sexes, of any ethnicity, with an ASA score of I-III who will undergo an elective surgery. Simple computer skills (computer / internet) are mandatory.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Pregnant women, healthcare professionals (by definition Federal Ministry of Labor Social Health and Consumer Protection (2019) Austria) and patients who are taking acute (within 24 hours immediately prior to surgery) anxiolytic or sedative medication (antidepressiva, neuroleptika (Imap, Melleril, Haldol,..), tranquilizer, benzodiazepine (Tafil, Frisium, Valium, Rivotril, Adumabran, Praxiten), beta-blocker and baldrian-extract, Hypericum perforatum, hop). Patients with german-language comprehension deficits, documented mental disorders, cognitive disorders, dementia, patients who are temporarily or permanently unable to consent are also excluded. The only form of surgery that excludes patients from participating is brain or adrenal surgery.
