Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. No significant chronic diseases (e.g., diabetes mellitus, poorly controlled high blood pressure) 2. Participants in the PERCI II trial (for dialysis patients)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Acute infection 2. Acute illness that prohibits participation in the study at the investigator's discretion 3. Women of childbearing potential who are not more than 2 years in menopause 4. Consent not given

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
There are no endpoints in this study. However, the concentrations of the AGE (Advanced Glycation Endproducts) and the free light chains kappa and lambda are determined. The analysis is done as a descriptive statistics and correlation.
