Active motivation to drink water in every school brake over a period of 4 hours Group 2: No training course and no motivation to drink water

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All students of the 5th and 6th grade.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Diagnosed learning disorder

Primary

MeasureTime frame
One-time computer-based assessment of cognitive performance at noon, after 4 hours of drinking motivation/school start. Parameters: alertness, working memory updating, inhibitory control, spatial-visual memory

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Questionaire regarding eating and sleeping habits and physical activity (answered by parents before intervention startet); assessment of physical performance with a standardized motoric test (single testing of hole classes during the study period) and physical activity within 24h using accelerometer (measurment startet one day before intervention day until the beginning of cognitional assessment); hydrationstatus using urine color chart (single assessment on intervention day before cognitional testing started)
