Inclusion criteria: Age between 18-35 years or 65-85 years
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Type 1/2 diabetes, acute cancer, stroke/heart attack in the last 6 months, severe food allergies, pregnancy

| Comparison of postprandial FGF21 concentrations in young and old adults. 15, 30, 60, 120 and 240 minutes after a meal blood will be drawn, serum and plasma will be stored at -80 degrees until analysis. FGF21 quantification will be done using ELISA kits. At every timepoint Appetit and hunger will be marked on a visual analogue scale. Physical activity will be assessed with the IPAQ short form. Dietary habits will be investigated using a 24 dietary recall and a food frequency questionnaire. The CNAQ will be conducted only in the group of older adults. | — |
