Conditions

Patients undergoing elective surgery who have an indication to use arterial blood pressure monitoring.

Interventions

Group 1: Patients undergoing general anesthesia with Propfol, Sufentanil and Atracurium will receive blood samples at defined times and plasma concentrations of each drug will be measured.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Written consent of the patient; Electively operated patients under general anesthesia; The indication due to surgery and / or anesthesia to establish arterial blood pressure monitoring

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Intolerance to propofol, sufentanil or atracurium; Children and adolescents (<18 years of age); Patients undergoing emergency surgery; Drug abuse; Positive HIV test; Positive hepatitis test; Pregnancy; Patients in whom the indication for anesthesia with volatile anesthetics is made; Patients who are not indicated to use arterial blood pressure monitoring; Rejection by the patient

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Model parameters with inter- and intraindividual variability (variance) for compartment volumes, clearances and transfer constants of a population-pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic model of general anesthesia for propofol, sufentanil and atracurium taking into account the EEG (bispectral index)

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Investigation of the influence of co-variables on parameters within the pharmacokinetic model.
