Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients’ inclusion criteria comprised inpatient surgery for newly diagnosed breast cancer (C50.xx, D05.xx) between February 1st and August 31st 2013, and at least one malignancy and at least one postoperative histological evaluation. Patients had to be gainfully employed before the first diagnosis of breast cancer. Consent to be re-contacted was given.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: not having been employed prior to diagnosis, missing consent
