Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Children and adolescents from the 29th day of life to the age of 18 years with a status epilepticus, with need for admission to a pediatric critical care unit of at least 4 hours. Status epilepticus defined as (a) continuous clinical and/or electroencephalographic seizure activity with or without loss of consciousness of 5 minutes duration. or (b) a repeated occurrence of epileptic seizures without any complete recurrence of consciousness in the meantime
