Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) maxillary Miller class I or II defect (2) Absence of pocket probing depths = 5mm on the tooth with the recession and its adjacent teeth (3) preoperative oral hygiene instructions and an approximal plaque index <35% (4) written informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Presence of a Miller class III or IV defect (2) Presence of probing pocket depths = 5mm on the tooth with the recession and its adjacent teeth (3) pregnancy (4) hemorrhagic diatheses, anticoagulant therapy
