Inclusion criteria: Diagnosed irritable bowel syndrome

Measure	Time frame
Self-reported irritable bowel syndrome severity measured on paper using the validated IBS-SSS by Francis et al. (1997) and the German version by Betz et al. (2013). Collected at the start of the intervention (baseline) on day 1, after completion of the intervention (post-AMT) on day 12 and after 12 months (follow-up-UP).	—

Self-reported depressive symptomatology measured with the paper version of the PHQ-9, the anxiety symptomatology with the GAD-7 and the self-reported satisfaction and efficacy with therapy, using a newly developed patient-reported outcome questionnaire (PREM).	—
