Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Employed adults 2. Age = 18 years 3. Initial contact in order to describe and elucidate participants regarding the study procedures 4. Internet access for participating in the ecological momentary assessment procedures 5. Provision of written consent
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Self-reported chronic serious physical diseases (especially endocrionological, cardiovascular, neurological, nephrological and hepatic diseases) 2. Self-reported chronic psychiatric diseases (especially schizophrenic spectrum disorders, severe depression and bipolar disorders) 3. Heavy smoking (= 20 cigarettes daily) 4. Current substance abuse or addictive disorders 5. Permanent intake of psychotropic drugs

| Percentage methylation of genes (e.g. NR3C1) which are involved in the regulation of the glucocorticoid system is quantified before and after the intervention using genomic DNA derived from saliva samples. Polymorphisms are analyzed using the same genomic DNA. The circadian rhythms of cortisol and alpha-amylase are measured from saliva samples which are collected in everyday life. Psychometrically assessed parameters (stress, contact behavior, social interaction, cognitive appraisals and coping strategies) are measured in everyday life. All parameters which are examined in everyday life are assessed on two days before and two days after the intervention using an ecological momentary assessment approach. | — |
