Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All study participants must meet the following inclusion criteria: • Age: = 18 years • Mother Tongue: German All CI users must meet the following inclusion criteria: • Unilateral CI users • CI speech processors: CP900-Series or CP1000 • Hearing experience with CI: = 6 months • Speech intelligibility with CI: SRT with OlSa in S0N0 = 5 dB SNR • Hearing aid in the contralateral ear: None Normal hearing participants (NH-group) show on both ears the following hearing level and CI users on the contralateral unaided ear the following mean hearing level (four pure tone average, PTA4): • SSD-CI: PTA4 = 30 dB HL • AHL-CI: 30 dB HL < PTA4 = 55 dB HL • UniCI I: 55 dB HL < PTA4 = 80 dB HL • UniCI II: 80 dB HL < PTA4 • NH: Hearing level = 20 dB HL up to 8 kHz
