Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - Mother/father (biological or adoptive parents) with child up to the age of 12 months registered in Berlin, Leipzig or Flensburg. - Written/online consent is confirmed. - Participant at least 18 years old when filling out the questionnaire
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: - Legal representatives of the infant are not the birth parents or adoptive parents - Participants are employees of the Institute for Social Medicine, Epidemiology and Health Economics or their relatives.

| The aim of the study is to determine the prevalence of psychological stress and disorders in parents of infants and the prevalence of regulatory disorders (feeding, crying, sleep disorders) in infants. All outcomes are assessed in a telephone and online survey in mothers, who showed evidence of increased stress in the first online survey. Psychological disorders in parents (DSM-IV and ICD-10 defined and collected by the M.I.N.I. questionnaire): - Episode of major depression (current and lifetime) - MDE with melancholic part (current) - Dysthymia (current) - Suicidality (current) - (Hypo)manic episode (current and lifetime) - Panic disorder (current and lifetime) - Agoraphobia (current) - Social phobia, social anxiety disorder (current) - Obsessive-compulsive disorder (current) - Post-traumatic stress disorder (current) - Alcohol addiction/abuse (last 12 months) - Drug addiction/abuse (last 12 months) - Psychotic disorders (current and lifetime) - Anorexia nervosa (current) - Bulimia nervosa (current) - Generalized anxiety disorder (current) - Antisocial personality disorder (lifetime) - Burnout (assessed by the Parental Burnout Assessment Questionnaire) In infants, the endpoint is indications of crying, feeding or sleeping disorders recorded by the SFS (Screaming Feeding Sleeping -Questionnaire). | — |
