Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Male, Age 18-40, healthy, unremarkable QST report

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Age over 40, pre-existing conditions (diabetes m .; cardiac pre-existing conditions, pruritus, skin diseases (arm), neurological diseases, medication intake, regular analgesic intake <3 days before experiment, conspicuous QST, chronic medication intake and pre-existing pain or chronic diseases

MeasureTime frame
Detection of proteome (24 hours after incision) via mass spectroscopy from skin and blood samples for incision-related pain in a human surrogate model for postoperative pain.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. Identification and correlation of candidate proteins that are more regulated in subjects with a large secondary hyperalgesia area after experimental incision than in subjects with a small secondary hyperalgesia area 2. What differences and similarities can be found between human and animal (mouse) in a comparable trauma in the proteome of skin and blood samples?
