Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • Existence of cluster headache disorder according to International Headache Society IHS 3.1 or ICD 10: G44.0 • Gender: Both, male and female • Minimum age: 18 years • Maximum age: no maximum age • Sufficient knowledge of the German language • Internet access

Primary outcome are the self-developed Cluster Headache Scales (CHS). The CHS comprises three parts: I. general information about the person (socio-demographic), II. information about the cluster headache disorder (type, duration, current disorder activity, treatment, trigger) and III. information about (i) strain, (ii) disability and (iii) coping on a 5-point Likert scale (strong rejection to strong agreement). Part III (the CHS in the narrow sense) comprises about 95 items (study version). Data is to be collected by a cross-sectional online survey during January and February 2019.	—

• To determine convergent validity of the CHS, the following questionnaires will be additionally applied: Cluster Hedache Severity Scale (CHSS, Steinberg et al., 2018, own German translation), Depressions-Angst-Stress-Skalen (DASS, Nilges & Essau, 2015), Inventar zur Beeinträchtigung durch Kopfschmerzen (Headache Disability Inventory, HDI, Jacobson et al., 1994, German version: IBK, Bauer et al., 1999), Epworth Sleepiness scale (ESS, German version, Sauter et al., 2007), Fragebogen zum Kopfschmerzmanagement und zur Selbstwirksamkeit – Kurzform (German translation, HMSE-G-SF respectively FKMS-K, Graef et al. 2015). • To determine divergent validity the Social Interaction Anxiety Scale (SIAS, Stangier et al., 1999) will be additionally applied. Data is to be collected by a cross-sectional online survey during January and February 2019.	—
