Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: longterm PPI prescription of at least 6 months

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: reluctance to participate, lack of German fluency, cognitive limitations that hinder study education and comprehension, mere home visit patients (e.g. practice visits are not possible due to frailty)

Cumulative DDD-PPI (Defined Daily Doses) per study patient per practice in the following 6 months after first counsel (training of the general practitioner and following counsel with arriba-PPI)

MeasureTime frame
Cumulative DDD-PPI per study patient per practice in the following 12 months after first counsel (training of the general practitioner and following counsel with arriba-PPI). Ratio of PPI-patients within all patients of one practice for the last two billing quarters at 12 months after training. Average cumulative DDD-PPI within all PPI-patients of one practice for the last two billing quarters at 12 months after training.
