Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 18 years 2. Diagnosis: cerebral movement disorder 3. Modified Tardieu scale (> 0) 4. Gross Motor Function Classification Scale (GMFCS; Level I & II) 5. able to walk

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Injections of botulimuntoxin within the last 4 months in the mentioned muscles 2. Inability to understand instructions 3. Acute injuries which make standing and / or walking impossible 4. Condition after Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR) Intervention 5. Strongly fluctuating muscle tone.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Maximal voluntary muscle contraction (M. soleus, gastrocnemius, tibialis) measured by electromyography, quantification by root mean square calculation from electromyographic signal directly before and directly after the vibration intervention (and 30min after sham/treatment intervention).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Determination before and after whole body vibration intervention of: Tardieu Scale Range of Motion (dorsiflexion / plantarflexion) 1min walk test (quantification by walking distance) directly before and after the vibration intervention (and 30min after sham/treatment intervention).
