Group 1: Physical activity of acutely hospitalized geriatric patients with and without cognitive impairment will be assessed during early rehabilitation using an activity monitor (uSense).

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - patients receiving early rehabilitation treatment - written informed consent within the first 72 hours after hospital admission - ability to walk 4 meters with walking aid - = 65 years - Mini-Mental State Examination score = 10 points
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: - delirium - severe somatic or psychiatric disorders - lack of knowlegde of the German language - isolation
