Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - sex: male (rationale: intensity and irregulary timed erythrocyte loss by menstruation might desturb measurements after Age-cohort labeling - age: 18-50 y - physically and mentally healthy - no known diseases that might endanger exposure to high altitude (e.g. acute inflammation) - BMI > 18 and 10 g/dl - voluntarily signed informed consent
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: - known susceptibility to high altitude illness such as high altitude pulmonary edema and acute mountain sickness - known illness of the respiratory tract - systolic blood pressure =150 mmHg and diastolic pressure 30 g/Tag), drug addiction
