Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: health care professionals working with hematological or oncological patients with minor children (physicians, nurses, psychologists, etc.)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: insufficient German language skills, health care professionals working with pediatric cancer patients

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Phase 1 (Development): qualitative interviews with health care professionals, affected parents and experts in the field of parental cancer; comprehensive literature search Phase 2 (Evaluation): professional competence regarding child- and parent-related subjects (situational judgement tests)

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Phase 2 (Evaluation): communicative competence, self-efficacy, communication regarding child- and parent-related issued Additionally, acceptability and feasibility of the training will be assessed using a questionnaire addressing structure, organization and content of the training.
