Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 18-65 years old at the time of the operation, cartilage damage and/or medial gonarthrosis with existing varus deformity treated by medial open wedge osteotomy (from 1.1.2004 to 31.12.2017).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: older than 65 years, limited mobility, in particular more than 20 ° extension deficit, systemic or local inflammation as well as insufficient soft tissue conditions of the proximal tibia
