Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - age > 60 - HF with NYHA II-IV (NYHA IV only after recompensation) - clinical indication for left/right heart catheterization (with/without exercise) - signed official consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - myocardial infarction or CABGS within the last 3 months - active oncological processes under chemo- / radiation therapy - coronary artery disease requiring PTCA/surgery - pregnancy - the height of patient 230cm - the weight >155 kg and 110b/min - COPD > 2 GOLD - chronic kidney disease under hemodialysis - other conditions, assessed as preventing inclusion by a treating clinician/study physician

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The reproducibility between hemodynamic measurements, made invasively in the left/right heart catheterization, should be assessed by non-invasive methods of impedance- and echocardiography.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To assess the comparative accuracy of invasively and non-invasively measured hemodynamic parameters in the prediction of the clinical outcome.
