Group 1: A questionnaire comprising 40 items is distributed to all consecutive adult patients with the following ENT diseases who are in the centre of inpatient treatment during the study period, taki
there are no plans to monitor the smoking habits of the patients.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with: Malignant squamous cell carcinoma in the area of the aerodigestive tract, the lips, oral cavities, nose, throat, laryngeal carcinoma Preliminary stages: leukoplakia in the area described above Reinke edema on the vocal folds Benign tumors of the parotid glands (pleomorphic adenomas, cystadenolymphomas) re-filling in case of multiple illnesses or repeated therapies for the above illnesses possible Minimum age 18 years Informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Secondary tumor disease (metastases of non-ENT malignancies) tumor disease of the esophagus (primary disease) Lack of study readiness, e.g. due to limited intellectual ability to study or due to written-language barriers (compliance) Patients in any care ratio
