Interventions

Group 1: All inpatients of the Department for Orthopedics and Traumatology at the Hospital Chemnitz, who meet inclusion criteria and have no exclusion criteria, have to fill in a paper-based questionn

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Full of age (=18 years), able to sign informed consent; Admission to the normal ward of the orthopedic / trauma department

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Cognitive impairments, illnesses that affect the ability to sign (for example, dementia, mental illness), lack of knowledge of German, other lack of cognitive abilities, rejection by the patient, reduction of postoperative vigilance, intensive care patients, outpatients

MeasureTime frame
How many of the orthopedic / trauma patients have experience with complementary medicine? Are the experiences positive or negative? How many patients would use complementary therapies again? Which procedures were used? How many patients want advice on complementary medical methods?

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Subgroup analysis with descriptive data (age, insurance status, gender, disease, planned therapy) Comparison of the results with other surveys (e. g. AZKIM-Questionnaire with similar intention, but with different locations and different medical departments)
