Inclusion criteria: Residents, relatives, carers and nurses in inpatient care facilities

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Gerontopsychiatric disorders, which result in < = 24 points in the Mini-Mental State Examination

MeasureTime frame
Employees are questioned by written questionnaire about their experiences of violence in professional situations as well as their experiences in dealing with the violence they encounter. Likewise, residents are questioned about the experience of violence and violence in the care facilities during interviews. Furthermore, focus group interviews will take place with the residents representatives and representatives of the families (supervisor representation). In addition, the perspectives on the subject of violence are explored in the context of expert discussions with the facility management. The aim is to develop guidelines / recommendations on the basis of these surveys to help dealing with violence or its avoidance, which are anchored in the policy documents of the institutions (mission statement, quality management, etc.). The surveys are planned for the period October to December 2018.
