Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Healthy participants aged 18 to 35 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects with impaired (and uncorrected) vision, gait disturbances and with mental or neurological disorders

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The motor potential of walking alone is to be compared with that of walking and simultaneously performing working memory tasks. The amplitude (µV) of the motor potentials as well as the power (e.g. dB) of the underlying oscillations in a spectrum of e.g. 1 to 40 Hz shall be compared. In addition, the motor potentials and oscillations are to be compared between the different surfaces, using, among other things, a repeated measures analysis of variance.

MeasureTime frame
Gait parameters such as the variability of the cadence (e.g. in steps per minute) of walking alone are to be compared with that of walking and simultaneously processing working memory tasks. In addition, gait parameters between the different surfaces are to be compared using, among other things, a repeated measures analysis of variance.
