35 Years to 70 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: • Age between 35 and 70 years • PD = 5 mm at minimum 4 sites at non-adjacent teeth and maximum 2 sites with PD = 7 mm • at = 30% of the sites PD = 4 mm • minimum 16 natural teeth • API = 60 % at baseline • no disease with relation to periodontitis • no gravidity, no lactation • no intake of antibiotics within the last 3 months • no periodontal therapy within the last year • nonsmoker (= 5 cig/day maximum)
