Group 1: Scaling and root planing with amoxicillin (3x500mg/d and Metronidazol (3x400mg/d), for one week, orally Group 2: Scaling and root planing with Metronidazol (3x400mg/d), for one week, orally

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: indication of systemic antibiotics at SRP (see statement DG PARO and DGZMK 2 sites per quadrant with probing depth = 6mm minimum 16 teeth no disease associated with parodontitis no gravidity or lactation no intake of antibiotics during the last 3 months no periodontal therapy within the last year

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: diseases associated with periodontitis pregnancy and lactation intake of antibiotics within the last 3 months periodontal therapy within the last 12 months
