Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
probing depth and attachment Level, after 6 months, determined in mm using a periodontal probe

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
bleeding on probing; MMP-8, IL-1beta and IL-10 in the gingival crevicular fluid; 4 periodontopathogenic bacteria in the subgingival biofilm all variables after 6 months bleeding on probing is determined using a periodontal probe, results in % MMP-8, IL-1beta and IL-10 in the gingival crevicular fluid: determined in the laboratory(ELISA-Kit in pg) periodontopathogenic bacteria in the subgingival biofilm: determined in the laboratory (extraction of DNA, PCR and reverse hybridisation)
