Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Representation of prosodic information in the auditory cortex of normal-hearing subjects (using magneto- and electroencephalographic measurements as well as near infrared spectroscopy) compared to CI users who have already completed their rehabilitation phase (using electroencephalographic measurements and near infrared spectroscopy). | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Development of the representation of prosodic information in the auditory cortex of post- and pre-lingually deafened CI users throughout their one-year rehabilitation period (using multiple measurements with near-infrared spectroscopy). | — |
