Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: healthy men between 20 and 35 years without acute health problems or orthopedic injuries in the knee area / willing to contribute in the study and fit for exercise
Exclusion criteria

Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To determine the molecular adaptation of mechanoprotective systems in human skeletal muscle in response via western blotting, phosphoproteomics, immunohistochemistry and electron microscopy. Primary endpoints will be determined when subjects have underwent the entire study section. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Blood samples, force development of skeletal muscle and myofiber hypertrophy / Questionnaires to estimate subjective muscular loading and muscle pain. Secondary endpoints will be determined to defined time points throughout the study. | — |
