Group 1: Treatment for a sustained air leak (at least 3 days) in the period 2015-2017 was warranted in approximately twelve percent (12%) of the lung surgeries at our institution.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with air leakage on the 3rd POD, after Lung resections underwent the surgery in the period between 2015-2017

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Other types of surgery, broncho-pleural fistula, ventilator dependent respiration longer than 48hours
