Group 1: The Assessment with the 4AT will be used for every participant who is at impatient state between 8:00 and 16:00 on the assessment day. Is the 4AT positive (means delirium), the delirium motor

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: German language, impatient status on one of the assessment-days in one of three gastroenterological units.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: prefinal state, comatose patients, insufficient German language

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Prevalence of delirium according to the 4AT in a timeframe of 2 month with 6 points of assessment (every 12 days)

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Subtype of delirium according to the delirium motor subtype scale. Correlation of delirium and age, liver-disease, gender and lenght of stay until assessment (data of Patientrecords)
