Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Right-hemispheric ischemic or hemorraghic stroke (as confirmed by imaging) - Early subacute phase of stroke (7 - 56 days after stroke) - Age >= 18 years - Visuospatial neglect - Right-handed - Able to understand the scope and content of the trial - Able to give an informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Severe alcohol or narcotic abuse, severe psychatric disease like depression or psychosis - Previous stroke - Severe cognitive impairment - Sight disorder which cannot be corrected with glasses - Restricted field of vision due to a hemianopsia - Psychotropic medication - Pregnancy - Epilepsy - History of severe traumatic brain injury or surgery - Pacemaker - Participation in other intervention trials
