Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: stroke in the previous 7 days resulting in motor deficits in the upper extremity
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: complete motor recovery during inpatient stay, limited understanding/ co-ability, previous cerebral ischemia, contraindications to MRI, unstable clinical situation

| Correlation and thus prognosis prediction between short-term learning-associated functional connectivity changes in the motor cerebral system and the individual rehabilitation outcome. The MRI, which is crucial for the prognosis, is performed during the stay in the acute hospital (days 4-7 after stroke). The change in functional connectivity is measured between 2 resting state measurements performed before and after a 12-minute sequence learning paradigm. Motor outcome is the result of the Fugl-Meyer assessment scores after 6 months. In short: Prediction of motor stroke outcome (Fugl Meyer score 6 months post stroke) of mean initally measured changes in functional connectivity induced by a 12 minute sequence learning paradigm. | — |
