Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients with a minimum age of 18 years that were treated stationary with the diagnosis epistaxis between 01.01.2011. - 01.01.2018 in the Hospital SANA Kliniken Leipziger Land, Klinikum Borna

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria were: active malignant disease, known genetic coagulopathy, liver disease and/ or failure, active respiratory infection, perforation of the nasal septum, postoperative bleeding after nasal surgery including septumplasty, septorhinoplasty or sinus surgery

Using the Hospital Information System (HIS) a retrospective analysis will be performed from 01.01.2011 to 01.01.2018. The sec. outcomes are location of epistaxis, recurrence rate
