consisting of six weekly modules and an additional booster session 4 weeks thereafter (e. g. motivation, goal-setting, barrier management)
optional SMS-Coach and Facebook group (promotion of adherence) Group 2: waitlist control group
Group 1: intervention group with immediate access to an e-coach guided internet-based intervention for promoting physical activity and wellbeing
developed according to cognitive-beavioral as well as sports scientific principles (e. g. time management, self-regulation strategies)

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: low level of physical activity ( 4); at least 18 years old; enrolled as a college/university student; sufficient German language skills; signed informed consent; internet access

Feasabilty of the study concerning implementation and recruitment strategy; transferability into a future large-scale randomized controlled trial; Questions: Which target population is reached through the chosen recruitment strategy? How high is intervention satisfaction (CSQ-8), adherence (number of completed modules) and acceptance (self-developed questionnaire)?

physical activity (Internatinal Physical Activity Questionnaire; IPAQ), depression (PHQ-9), anxiety (GAD-7), stress (PSS-4), well-being (WHO-5), impairment of psychological well-being (Psychosomatische Beschwerden im nichtklinischen Kontext), self-efficacy (Skala zur allgemeinen Selbstwirksamkeitserwartung), self-efficacy concerning physical activity (Selbstwirksamkeit zur sportlichen Aktivität), intention, planning and barriers (Fragebogen zur Absicht, Planung und Barrieren körperlicher Aktivität), credebility/expectancy (CEQ), risks and side effects (modified version of INEP); data collection before randomisation as well as 7 and 12 weeks thereafter
