Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Cleaning efficacy: Before and after the cleaning procedure, the PRDP will be stained using a plaque disclosing liquid and photographed on all sites. After conducting the clinical examination for the last patient, the images of different PRDP parts (buccal, lingual, occlusal, tissue side and teeth) will be analyzed by evaluating the proportion of the stained plaque areas to the unstained PRDP areas using the Photoshop software (Planimetry).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Comparison of the cleaning efficacy between different parts of PRDPs adjusted by sex, patient´s age, jaw, PRDP´s age, home cleaning behaviour and diet habits.
