Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Borderline-Personality Disorder (BPD): BPD diagnosis with International Personality Disorder Examination (>=5 out of 9 criteria following DSM-5, IPDE, Loranger, 1999)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Diagnosis of schizophenic disorder or bipolar I disorder, substance dependency during the last year, current substance abuse, epilepsy, brain trauma, brain tumor or other neurological diseases additional exclusion criteria for participating in the fmrt tasks: BMI<16.5, metall implants, permanent make-up, claustrophobia, left-handedness

| Cognitive and social-cognitive processes are assessed prior and following the training with help of a task battery (social-cognitive processes: perception and evaluation of positive social-emotional information including a facial emotion intensity rating tasks (Thome et al., 2016), perception of social cues during a virtual reality setting and its effects on subsequent interaction behavior (Liebke et al. in revision), evaluation and anticipation of social scenes (adapted version of the fMRT task introduced by Herwig et al., 2010); cognitive processes: trail-making test, N-back, word/attribution fluency). During one cognitive and one social cognitive task (Anticipation of social scenes, N-back task) neuronal correlates of the processes will be assessed with functional magnetresonancetomography. | — |
