Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Ownership of an Android smartphone (Android Version 4.0 or higher) with an active internet connection

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. presence of suicidal thoughts, 2. Failure to provide informed consent

Mental Distress at Post-Assessment (T-2 / 4 weeks after randomization) as measured by Kessler K6 scale during telephone interview

Well-being (EQ-5D-5L), intentions towards help-seeking (GHSQ), help-seeking behavior (AHSQ), patient activation (PAM), attitudes towards mental health services (ATSPPH_SF), perceived stigmatization (CBS), application quality (MARS), user satisfaction (MARS), engagement (Usage paramters), and adherence with the mHealth intervention (Usage paramters) All measured at post-assessment (T2) and self-reported on the device
