Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Pelvic injury typ B1/AO with dehiscent symphysis and indication for surgical treatment that were operated between 2012 and 2016 as either emergency or delayed priority at BG Trauma Center in Ludwigshafen, Germany

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Death before operative treatment - unable to complete or refused consent - underage (<18 years)
