Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Percentile of body mass index = 90 or loss of control eating; sufficient German language skills

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Severe physical condition; acute psychiatric symptoms; neurological impairments; Medication with effect on executive functioning; intelligence quotient < 80; participation in structured weight loss treatment

• Reduction of impulsivity: pre-post intervention difference in impulsivity , assessed via computer tests (e.g., Balloon Analogue Risk Task for Youth [BART-Y], Approach-Avoidance Task [AAT]) und via self-report questionnaires (Inventar zur Erfassung von Impulsivität, Risikoverhalten und Empathie bei 9-14-jährigen [IVE; Inventory for the assessment of impulsivity, risk taking behavior and empathy in 9- 14years old children] – subscale impulsivity) • Reduction of eating disorder psychopathology: pre-post intervention difference in eating disorder psychopathology, assessed via interview with the child (Child Eating Disorder Examination [ChEDE]) • Change of body mass index standard deviation score (BMI-SDS): pre-post intervention difference in BMI-SDS
